Skiing and snowboarding in winter

In the winter the Wunderwiese in Puchberg is transformed into a lovely little ski area and winter sports paradise amid the glorious scenery of the highest mountain in Lower Austria, the Schneeberg.

Two magic carpets and a tow lift will whisk you up to slopes which are ideal for families and novices. Little first-time skiers can start to find their feet on the slopes in Puchi’s Kinderland.

The ski area’s modern snowmaking facilities ensure perfect piste conditions.

4.1 kilometres of pistes by the tow lift:

• 1 km of blue pistes
• 2.8 km of red pistes
• 0.3 km of black pistes

Lifts:

• Tow lift 650 m in length
• Magic carpet dry ski slope 130 m in length
• Magic carpet Puchi's Kinderland 30 m in length

Important notice: Touring is not permitted in the area of the Wunderwiese and the tow lift. Please use the open land around the Schneeberg chairlift for this purpose. There are also parking spaces for ski tourers here.
